This project included research, coordination with numerous consultants, field surveys to establish horizontal and vertical control based upon the California State Plane Coordinate System, field surveys to identify topographic features for over 1.5 miles of mountainous terrain, field surveys to locate and tag over 2000 trees, bathymetric surveys within Union Valley Reservoir and preparation of a base map drawing showing 1’ contours, existing rock outcroppings, bathymetric contours blended with land contours, and tree tag identification tables all in support of design for a new bike trial extending from the Yellow Jacket Campground around the Union Valley Reservoir and connecting to an existing bike trail at the Wench Creek Campground.
