Liberty ALTA Survey

The Liberty ALTA Survey project consists of approximately 330 acres of land in the City of West Sacramento, CA.  Michael Dequine and Associates, Inc.’s services included research, acquisition of Preliminary Title Reports, field surveys using conventional as well as Global Positioning Systems technology to develop Horizontal and Vertical Control, field surveys to search for and locate over 50 existing survey monuments, boundary analysis, easement calculations, field surveys to set aerial survey control points, an aerial topographic survey resulting in one foot contour intervals, a digital color Ortho-photograph, and preparation of an ALTA survey in compliance with the Minimum Standard Detail…

Union Valley Bike Trail Extension Project, El Dorado County, CA

This project included research, coordination with numerous consultants, field surveys to establish horizontal and vertical control based upon the California State Plane Coordinate System, field surveys to identify topographic features for over 1.5 miles of mountainous terrain, field surveys to locate and tag over 2000 trees, bathymetric surveys within Union Valley Reservoir and preparation of a base map drawing showing 1’ contours, existing rock outcroppings, bathymetric contours blended with land contours, and tree tag identification tables all in support of design for a new bike trial extending from the Yellow Jacket Campground around the Union Valley Reservoir and connecting to…

Design Surveys for J and K Streets between 7th and 12th Streets, City of Sacramento, CA

This project included research, acquisition of Preliminary Title Reports, field surveys, and preparation of base map drawings for the design of new street and landscaping improvements in the downtown area of the City of Sacramento, California. Work was conducted in heavy traffic conditions along 12 blocks of urban areas. Field surveys included location of existing utility facilities, driveways, traffic lanes, existing building corners, and other existing improvements within the project corridor.
