The Docks Area Master Plan and Promenade Design Project

The Docks project represents an exciting opportunity for development of the Sacramento River waterfront between the Tower Bridge and Miller Park in Downtown Sacramento. Michael Dequine and Associates, Inc. provided research, field surveys using GPS technology, design surveys and aerial surveys to prepare detailed base mapping for the design of new waterfront improvements. Conceptually, this project could include new residential condominiums, retail and commercial spaces, parks, and a new waterfront promenade to provide a walking connection along the river between the Tower Bridge and Miller Park. We are also coordinating our efforts with the State Lands Commission and the City of Sacramento Economic Development Department to create a Boundary Line Agreement between State and City owned lands.
